Avril Lavigne has decided to extend her tour of China with another six performances.
Lavigne’s Best Damn Tour 2008 is currently in Canada but will soon take off on an Asian circuit, traveling through Malaysia, South Korea, the Philippines and Japan, before stopping in China.
The Canadian singer visited China briefly in 2007 where she performed at the Qizhong Tennis Center in Shanghai and then in Hong Kong.
Lavigne is currently promoting her third album, “The Best Damn Thing,” which sold over 5 million copies. She was ranked at No. 7 in the Forbes “Top 20 Earners Under 25” in December of 2007 and has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
